Today is 4/25/07. I had surgery on 4/24/07 at approximately 4:00 pm. Mommy and daddy picked me up at 7 am today. I was very happy to see them! Of course, daddy had to pick me up and put me in the truck. Well, doc said I probably wouldn't need the cone, but apparently I wanted to stand out in the crowd! The nurse said I went right to lickin' as soon as I came out of the anesthetic- go figure. I was a little tired still on the way home (you could see it in my eyes) and I sure liked to whine too (what do you expect- I've been through some trauma and I thought my folks should know!) I just can't wait to get home...
Bella received Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) surgery on her left knee in April, 2007 (performed by Dr. Dew). The year prior, she had traditional surgery performed on her right knee (performed by Dr. Bell).

My mom and dad volunteer for a wonderful organization called PAWS of Marion. PAWS of MARION is a non-profit animal welfare group dedicated to helping pups in need. PAWS is based out of a small, rural town called Marion in Arkansas (about 10 miles from Memphis). They rely totally on donations from "doggy angels" and volunteers. Since Feb 2007, they have saved over 700 lives! Please consider supporting a pup in need.
